Start my car I hear a clicking noise?

When I start my car I hear a clicking noise, and it takes about 5 minutes of trying before it actually starts. Also, now the radio will not come on. I've been have trouble with the cables connected to the battery for awhile now.
I have always had problems with the battery cables connected to the battery. It starts eventually and runs. Sometimes it starts right away but sometimes it takes a few minutes.

What happens when it dont start? Nothing at all? Dash lights on?

Yes. Lights come on on the dash, air conditon works, power in car. But as of a yesterday the radio does not come on anymore.

Sounds like bad connections like you say. I have had to replace connectors to get a good enough voltage to work right consistantly. Just to check trans switch, have you tried starting in neutral too?

Sounds like it could be a battery that has gone bad as well
