Volvo will not hold idle until warmed up. Idles with maf sensor disconnected.

Replaced mass air flow sensor and same problem. Disconnected sensor and car starts and does not stall.

Is this an aftermarket MAF or did you get it from the dealership? Aftermarkets dont really work quite well on this vehicles for some reason? But also inspect the idle air control valve and inspect the hose for any damage. If it is split then that vacuum leak can cause it to stall out on you. If that is ok try cleaning the valve or you may need to replace it? Good luck to you and let me know what happens.
