I still can't figure out where to add the gear oil to the manual transmission in my car. Is it on the side of my transmission or in the front of the transmission. Will it look like a regular filler place or is it smaller. I am taking it to a mechanic on Wednesday but I am afraid it is out of fluid because of the grinding noise it makes. The gears shift the same as usual. The manual to my car is locked in the glove box and I can't open it. Will it show where to add the fluid?

Can you post a picture of your transmission... at minimum a picture of the engine bay (engine / transmission side-by-side)? I can tell you then where the filler is.

I just uploaded a better 020 video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qU7v2G4hQTo

If your transmission does not look like that... again, a picture will let me know.
