My car has a vibration in the front, my front tires wore down so quickly the the steel belt was showing on one. It is wearing on the out side edge. My friends says cv joint. Maybe tie rod/ axel /toe in - out help. I need I rotated tires and replaced the real bad one and I am witing to fix the problem before I buy new ones. If you know what it may be and could set me up with info. On how to repair it that would be awesome. Im afraid its going to cost me hundreds// yikes

Abnormal tire wears are due to fault with the wheel alignment.

Wheel alignment goes out of specs when there are wear to control arm bushes, steering linkages, wheel bearings and other suspension components.

A faulty CV joint would not cause abnormal tire wear but the other components mentioned would. You need an inspection of the suspension system and repair/replace componeents that are faulty and then go for an alignment to rectify the problem.

The cost would depend on how much parts anre faulty and can cost a tidy sum.
