Door panel removal

I need to get the door panel off my driver's side door. THe window dropped into the door. What is the trick after the one screw in the door handle?

The door panel comes of with two screws; one philips and one torx. Now the window mechanism is proving very difficult to figure out.
I cannot get the window up past the drive motor attachment. The limited view is making it nearly impossible to guess how it all works.

A window regulator and motor combo package seems to be the only way a person can order the cable driven window mechanism. The part ranges from $176 to $385 depending on who you talk to and how long one is willing to wait for the shipment. Then, there's the labor.
