I have a 98 oldsmobile bravada. I went to start it today it cranked just for a sec then died. Then key got stuck we found the release button under the paneling got key out then tryed to start car would not do anything its like the fire would not get to the starter. We also charged battery. We are thinking the ignition switch.?

Have a helper turn the key to the start position while you check for voltage to the smaller wire on the starter. You should have 12v. Let me know what you find. NOTE: Based on your description, I am assuming the starter isn't working.
