Car wont start, gas gauge always says 1/8 tank.

Have tried spark plugs, put new oil in. The car had to be towed November of last year, died while driving. It has been sitting since then.

You need to start by checking if it is getting spark and fuel to the engine. One is most likely missing. Once you determine which one is missing, then you can focus on that circuit.
