Running without thermostat may reduce overheating problems in most cases. Side effects may be increased fuel consumption in cooler weather. The colder the more consumption.

What would really benefit the vehicle in that climate is a bigger (or better) radiator.

CONTAINER IS FOR COOLANT (WATER AND COOLANT/ ANTIFREEZE---MIXED TO 50% COOLANT/ ANTIFREEZE AND 50% WATER, UP TO 70% COOLANT/ ANTIFREEZE AND 30% WATER MIXTUREKEEP FILLED TO CORRECT MARK ON THE CONTAINER

YOUR VEHICLE AND IT'S COMPUTER IS DESIGNED TO OPERATE AT A GIVEN TEMPERATURE FOR IT TO WORK EFFICIENTLY, REMOVING THE THERMOSTAT WOULD MAKE THE VEHICLE RUN AT CONSTANTLY CHANGING TEMPERATURES AT DIFFERENT SPEEDS

IF IT CANNOT DO THIS WITHOUT OVERHEATING, THERE ARE SEVERAL POSSIBILITIES AS TO WHY, SUCH AS:

RESTRICTED AIRFLOW OR DIRTY RADIATOR FINS

RADIATOR IS RESTRICTED WITH SCALE/ MINERALS DEBRIS

FANS/ RELAYS ARE NOT WORKING WHEN/ AS THEY SHOULD

BAD THERMOSTAT

OTHER

AS SUGGESTED BY fixitmr, ORDER A LARGER OR MORE IMPROVED RADIATOR (MORE "ROWS" IN THE CORE)

DURING WWII, LARGE CONDENSERS WERE INSTALLED ON JEEPS AND OTHER VEHICLES IN DESERT ENVIRONMENTS(SEEN EXTERNALLY NEAR THE GRILL)--EVEN CUTTING OUT THE GRILL GET MORE AIR-FLOW (IT IS AMAZING HOW MUCH EVEN SCREEN WIRE WILL CUT DOWN ON AIR FLOW BY 25%

IT IS NOW 67 YEARS LATER---SURELY THIS CONCEPT HAS BEEN MODERNIZED AND IMPROVED OVER THE YEARS---DO A GOOGLE SEARCH!

IS THIS OR SOMETHING SIMILAR BEING DONE ON VEHICLES IN YOUR ENVIRONMENT?

I HOPE THERE ARE MORE THAN ONE!

"STANT" (THERMOSTATS) PROBABLY DON'T HAVE MUCH OF A MARKET THERE!

I'D TRY TO GET A FEW MORE OPINIONS FROM OTHER REPUTABLE MECHANICS

KEEP US POSTED
