I have nissan 1998 pathfinder. Replaced battier and alternator but car still bucks and will not go over 35mph. Also, when car get hot and you shut off engine will not start until cool.

If the check engine light is on, have the computer scanned. Most parts stores will do it for free. Also, when it doesn't restart, check fuel pump pressure and check to see if it has a good spark.
