If thermostat was replaced was it put in upside down? If not the have the coolant system pressure checked it may be a head gasket or something cracked like a head.

Thank you for your prompt response, how would I know if the thermostat was replaced upside down? How would I know if there is a cracked head gasket?

If the thermostat was done by a pro then I doubt it but you would have to take it out and look is the only way. A pressure test on system will tell if there is an internal leak like a head gasket maybe coolant in cylinder etc. Cracked head would be after you take the head off which I'm assuming it's not.
