Hi I bought 1998 e 240 merc 2 months ago, and when I ve driven the power streering wasn't smooth it was a bit heavy, cause my brother has got same car, when I driven that car power steering was very light and smooth so what it could be problem, thanks guys

Any unusual noises heard when turning (comparing your brother's car to yours)? There are several issues that can cause stiff steering. Here is a list of possible causes: Low tire pressure, stiff front ball-joints, stiff outer tie-rod ends, binding steering gear, binding steering shaft, slipping drive belt, low power steering fluid and a weak power steering pump.
