Hello I have a 1998 mazda b2500 I put a new transmission in on 150000miles its now 191000. I noticed recently after the the first gear shifts smooth but the second the rpms goes to 3 and its not a smooth shift is this normal?

No it shouldn't be unless there is an electrical problem or low on fluid or an internal problem like valve body problem. Have a trans guy give you an opinion

Thank You. Also baterry acid leaking on +terminal. The battery was replaced 2 year ago. Do you know what could be the problem for this? Thanks.
I have spent about $6000 in repairs from new transmission to brakes, radiator, hoses. Ac repair. I think its time to sell?

Take the terminal end off and clean it it may have a slight crack in battery or where it vents may be close to positive terminal. Take about 2 tsb of baking soda and about 6-8 oz of water, mix it and put it on battery post it will clean it off. Then dump plain water on it to rinse.

As far as selling we don't say one way or the other on that. That is strictly up to you can you afford the payments and the price that insurance will cost you for newer car? But it beats break downs.
