my front tire got hot and was smoking and I could smell rubber burning what could that be?

Brake caliper is sticking. When only one is affected it is usually the caliper itself. Open the bleeder screw and if it doesn't release, replace it and the other one for even braking. If it does release suspect a constricted rubber flex hose.
