My car recently ( a month ago) had the water pump and coolant changed. I don't know the brand name or item # however it's Green, if that tells you anything.I now have a leak on the bottom of the Pressureized coolant reservoir. I have a new one to install. The new one has a sticker on it that says, only use Long Life Engine Coolant REF WSS-M97B44-D Coloured Orange. My coolant in the old reservoir I removed with a new turkey baster. Is it really mandatory to use what label says, or can I use my month old Green Collant? If I can't use the Green then I suppose I'll have to flush entire system again even though it was just done, right? What's the difference in the different coolants? Thanks, Jim C

You can't mix the two. The green coolant is good for about two years and the orange is good for 5 yrs. DEXTRON is orange. The green is ethylene glycol and the orange is poly ethelyen glycol I think if you look up dextron on search engine it wil tell you but they cannnnot be mixed.
