Electric problem

I electric problems! The starter runs when I conect the positive from the battery ! Even do the key swich is in off position ! And no, the cable that feeds voltage to the starter selenoid is no touching the positive cable ! Some one has an electric diagram for the starter?

Before you do all that let's try this do you have a multimeter?

With the battery hooked up see if the black wire with a yellow tracer has power to it?If it doesn't bad starter.

Yes I have a multimeter ! What I notice is that with the cable that goes directly to the selenoid at the starter it has all the time 12vdc constant ! And it should no have to be with 12 vdc all the time ! The only time it should have voltage is when you operate the ignition swith! Right?

The big one that comes from the battery?If that's the one your talking its always hot. How about the smaller I told you to check?
