How do I get the driver's side airbag off so I can work behind it? The manual says to turn the steering wheel 90 degrees, insert a screwdriver into a release slot and the turn the wheel 180 degrees to release the rest. IT'S NOT WORKING!! Can you give some advise?

it's not easy to find if you don't do it enough.the slots are beind the wheel and use a small flat tip blade to push it in and release it. make ABSOLUTLEY sure the battery is disconnected when you do this. If not you'll get hurt andit will blow out he windshield. Also make sure not to turn the steering wheel shaft after removing the wheel as it will damage the sir ribbon under the wheel. when you push the blade in pull up on the airbag. there is one on each side and you just push it down when you put it back in.
