1998 Ford Taurus brake switch

I need to know if new one installed correctly and need pic of that and the correct pic of the plastic rod beside brake pedal it became separated. So far pulling out hair doesnt help, and prob still exists like stuck in park and brake lights wont come on when depressing pedal and when you physically push up on switch brake lights come on

The only thing we have is this picture and it is installed with open end going on one side of booster/master cyl rod on pedal and then moved up so it shold be kind of level. Then there should be a plastic washer with a clip going through pedal rod to hold it in place. We don't have any pics of it installed. However.
