Does anyone know how to check the timing on this motor I do not have a manual on it. It is a 2.5l it is the one with 2 plugs per cylinder. I tell what happened it was parked one night running good the next day I get into it the started is not engaging and when it did the motor kicked back, it has never done this before. So anyway put a new starter on it and it did need a starter, and now it will not start and the motor is kicking back. So I am thinking maybe the belt slipped. So does anyone have a theory on this and does any one know how to check the timing on this truck?

I forgot to finish. The best thing to do is remove the timing cover and check can and crank positions.
