Runs great until it gets warm. It used to just idle high after it got warm Usually sitting in traffic makes it slightly warm. Then, after driving for 15 minutes, when you slow down and press clutch, the rpm's stay very high. I shut the car off and the rpms go back to normal until I get up to a decent speed again, then the rpm's stay high again. Now in the last 4 weeks, when the temperature gauge goes up a little bit, the car acts like it is going to die. When stepping on the gas it feels like it will die, so I have to get rpm's up. So, to summarize, idle doesn't return after car gets warm, unless you turn it off, and the car begins to die when it gets hot from sitting in traffic.

Man, there are so many possibilities when it comes to intermittent idle and power issues. With no codes to with with either. Your best bet is to have it diagnosed by a competent shop, and afterwards the diagnosis we can help walk you thru the repair.

Ok. It used to just idle high after driving it for 10 miles or more, and it would have to be shut off to stop idling high, then it would be normal till the next trip. Now it is doing the get warm and lose power in heavy traffic.

Clean the inside of sensor right off the air filter case and it was packed full of carbon. In the process I found a leak in this line that seems to have 2 parts. One looks to be another type of sensor or vacuum? I took a picture of the part from 4 different angles to show you the part. I need a part name and number.

Good job. The part is the p.C.V. Valve and the hose is the p.C.V. Hose. It is a preformed hose and most part stores should have that in stock.
