A p0301 is a misfire code for cylinder #1 misfire, are you sure you have the correct code number?

It must be because I did have a problem with a cylinder. I was told it was code 301. Do you think there could be a problem with the O2 sensor? I have never changed it. Thank you for your help.

It was misfiring, but the spark plug wires have been changed and the coil box. That greatly helped in the performance of the engine, but that light is still on. What are we missing? Could it have something to do with the pollution control parts?
