Okay heres my problem

My 1998 ford contour is having problems excellerating from a stop light.I happen to think its a problem to do with fuel injectors but I don't know. We take the car on the free way and we get up to 65mph and it starts sputtering and when we turn the over drive on for a few seconds it stops. Please help!

Are you sure trans is in first gear from stop?

Could be a fuel supply issue. Filter or pump pressure.

Yeah it only acts up when we excellerate for a stop or a low speed and it sputters when it gets over 60mph
