As many people have had this problem, My trucks heater is. Doing as many others only blowing cool air. It also I when accelerating the blower switches from the dash vents to the top vents used for the defrost then back to font vent when RPMs go back down. Done all the flushes changed. Thermostat and water pump. With so many complaining about the same thing it seems there is some kind of defect. Any ideas?

Your system is run by vacuum so check for a vacuum leak start at engine then go to vacuum reservoir then to control. We only have hose diagram for that when you step on gas engine loses vacuum so everything moves like you have. Also check for a water valve on engine if it loses vacuum it closes so no heat. You could had a vacuum pump and use that instead of engine for source.
