I drove my 1998 dodge Intrepid with a tranny fluid leak for a month. Added fluid as needed. Just figured out that it was a leak into the ATF cooler in the radiator. Will replacing the radiator and flushing the tranny solve my problem?

That is first step I would do in the shop, how is the car shifting? Any problems? If you caught it quick enough you should be alright, make sure you flush the trans with a flush machine, not just a drain and refill, to push all that fluid out and replace with new. Also flush WHOLE cooling system well. Hope this helps

Car was shifting ok as long as I kept the tranny fluid level up. Mechanic is actually doing all the work.
