98 dodge avenger 2.5 v6 p1391 loss of camshaft crank. Is there a camshaft sensor that I can replace or do I need a new distributor

My info says intermittent loss of cam or crankshaft sensor signal. You can check the sensor connectors. The camshaft position sensor is in the distributor. The crankshaft position sensor is on the bell-housing. At the sensors, you can check ref voltage-- ground--signal.

Are there any driveability issues?

My scanner says p1391 loss of camshaft crank. Is the camshaft sensor built into the distributor or is the sensor replaceable. Its not the crank sensor because it starts fine and don't stall. It has a rough idle and misfire, bucks while driving. Thanks

You can replace the cam sensor by itself.
