Okay when my rpm is over 1000 the car runs smooth but when I brake it and it drops a knotch or two under 1000 it begins to idle roughly. What could be causing that to happen?

Try cleaning throttle plate on both sides and iac hole with choke cleaner, also check for vacuum leaks like a line off or broken /cracked.

The oil light comes on sometimes off when it runs rough. Could those solutions fix that also?

Try changing oil with agood oil filter like napa, wix Purolator. Not fram

Okay my check engine light came on so I got it checked out and received these troubleshooting code P1294 and P0394. Can you tell me what these mean?

0394 is a camshaft intermittent problem on bank 2 so have apro look at this see if he can find something. 1294 is the iac may be shorted to battery or a broken wire or a pcm a pro should check this as well.
