Or is it more likely the security system not allowing power to the fuel pump. I have no power going to my fuel pump. Had to disconnect negative battery cable to do repairs and have an aftermarket stereo so cannot enter a security code through the radio. Have replaced the MAF sensor, the fuel pump, the fuel pump relay and rebuilt connectors in harness to the fuel pump. Have no power going through the wire harness to the fuel pump when I halfway turn the key to engage the fuel pump. Can you please help?

What has happens is you interrupted the security system which is tied to the stock radio. Here is a wiring diagrams to help you see what I am talking about. It will need to be reconnected.

Both wires are dark green. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.

Cheers

Lost my key had local dealership cut me a new one. Security light comes on, will not start. Tried to do what the dealers said to reset the security code. Will not work. They want to switch out the entire ignition. Any ideas?

Yep, you need to have the key reprogrammed to the car it should cost about $130.00.

Did you try the relearn? Leave the key on for thirty minutes until the security light stops blinking then shut the car off and restart it this should reset the system.

Yes, it will not let it start. Is there a cross on your key?
