1998 Chevrolet Tahoe not shifting properly

Hi! I have a 98 chevy tahoe and its not shifting properly into 3rd and 4th gear. It cranks fine and accelerates well until its tries to go into third. Can go into third and fourth if I press firmly on the gas pedal and let it go. What could be the probable cause? Help ! :-) (Solenoids and vss replaced)

Hi Chevygirlz93,

Is there a check engine light on? If not, It sounds like a seal inside the 3 to 4 gear planetary clutch packs has failed which bleed off pressure causing the late/no shift, unfortunately it will need to be rebuilt.
