What could be wrong when I start it up it quits instantly can you tell me what to do?

I have a 1998 chevy 350 vortec and when I start it up it instantly quits. What's my problem and what do I do to fix it?

Check fuel pressure. It may be a failed fuel pump.

Check for a security light on or flashing when you try to start it.
