Brake are hard to push

I was driving my Chevy s10 and went too make a right and I went to hit the brakes and the brake was hard an wouldn't go down and the motor sounded lik I tried restarting it it made the sound again and then I shut it off

It sounded like alot of metal being thrown around in the motor but it sounded like as if u were shaking a jar of pennies

Best bet is to have local mechanic see whats makin noise? Or have friend start it while you watch to see if you see anything external to engine block being cause of noise.

Brakes are probably fine engine just stalled and you lost vacuum.

The device engine light was on for awhile And we just thought it was the plugs or wires when the light came on
