I have a 1998 chevy cheyenne pickup c2500 350 5.7L and my fuel pump seems to have gone bad is it possible to replace just the fuel pump instead of purchasing a whole new module

yes it is but not recommended as when you have to dis assemble the module, plastic clips tend to break and then you are stuck replacing the entire unit

you can or used to be able to. but i think that year needs a new connector as well which should come with it and about 11 inches of harness that has to be spliced in as well.
