What could the promblem blazer keeps dying out when put in reverse

Check for a vacuum leak by checking all of the vacuum lines underhood.
Aso check the throttle body gasket for leaks.
Clean the throttle body and idle air control solenoid [IAC] if needed. (You can remove the IAC to clean it using carb/choke cleaner)
