My 1998 Buick Park Avenue the drivers door opens normally but won't open from the outside. I can open them from the inside. The door locks seem to be operating normally (the indicator "flops" back and forth). I have checked fuses, wiring under the back seat and the associated plugs. They all are normal.

If you can't open the driver's door from the outside then you will have to remove the inner door panel and see if the door handle rod came off somewhere. Here is a guide to help you see what you are in for when doing the job.

Please let us know what you find.
