My 1998 bmw 740il has a bad thermostat. I recently had a diagnostic test and the code came back to be a bad thermostat. The car just started having problems with the thermostat. Sometimes when I drive the car the temperature gauge will start to overheat sometimes going into the red zone then idleing back to normal. This only happens sometimes. Im not goin to be able to get the car fix till next week but I want to know is it okay to drive the car sometimes back and forth to work until I get this problem fixed?
