Trans slips then OK

1997 LC transmission slips so car won't go after 5 minutes. Turn off motor for 30 seconds, then all is good for another minute or two then slips. This can be repeated over and over. No codes on Scangauge-2 and no flashing OD light. ATF was milky, but was flushed 3 times (40 qts) and is now red.

Have the throttle position and vehicle speed sensors tested if okay bring it in and have it further checked-

Thanks -- I did adjust throttle cable in and out a few turns, but it didn't help. I'll have to find those sensors (I have the manual)...

I would suggest having the solenoids on the valve body checked.Water in the trans could have caused the solenoids to stick and they might not trigger codes as the electrical system is working corectly but the solenoids are not moving smoothly to operate correctly.
