1997 Saturn SL2 Mystery stuff in bell housing

Car runs, but suddenly lost power accelerating uphill. Dropped the oil pan & the sheet metal cover over the bottom of the bell housing for inspection. Fluffy black fibrous stuff falling out of bell housing. Clutch disk material? Never saw this before.

Looks like you lost your clutch thats the clutch material I saw a nice valeo clutch kit for that car on ebay for like 75. They used valeo clutches in those cars from the factory.
