A couple times backing out of my driveway last week my car's electrical power went dead than comes back on in a second, last night it went dead and didn't come back. Everything is out, all lights interior & exterior, wipers, engine won't start and doesn't turn over. Its as if there's no battery in the car. The battery is 100%. Where should I look to resolve this kind of problem? This car has been very well taken care of by the previous owner. All the cables and connections are new, clean, and tight. Perhaps there is a ground wire somewhere that is to blame. Can there be a fuse or relay that would shut down the whole elec. System? I have owned this car for 4-5 months and it has been very reliable and nice to drive. I am hoping the fix might be something simple. Thanks for your assistance. Todd Maurer

I DON'T HAVE A LOT TO OFFER

OTHERS DO JUMP IN AND GIVE THEIR DIAGNOSIS FROM TIME TO TIME

NOT ONLY CHECK YOUR FUSES---YOU MIGHT LOOK AT "FUSIBLE LINKS" ALSO

SNATCHING THEM (AND FUSES) OUT AND RE-INSTALLING THEM MIGHT CLEAN ANY MILD CORROSION OFF OF THEIR CONTACT SURFACES

SOMETIMES ANOTHER LOCAL SET OF EYES MIGHT CATCH SOMETHING YOU MISSED----JUST LET THEM GO AT IT, DON'T TELL THEM WHAT YOU DID OR DIDN'T DO....AS PEOPLE TAKE IT FOR GRANTED AND WON'T CHECK BEHIND YOU!
