Run a compression test, could be a rocker, pushrod, bent valve.

It very well could be a rod. When pump went and wife was trying to start it she said she heard a "pop" up under the dash at one point. The miss got bad after I changed the fuel pump. Didn't notice it before. The car runs with power but cant cet the niss out. Its most noticable when I have foot on gas peddle. The order of cures I tried was filter, then plugs and wires, then pcv valve.

Remove valve covers and plugs, rotate engine by hand and observe rocker arms.
The "pop" could also be a pushrod.
