1997 Plymouth Voyager transmission clicking

the other day i added trans fluid to my 3.0 voyager and the next day it was making a loud clicking noise and sounds like its comming from the trans pan or bell housing what do you think it could be

it's possibly coming from the oil pan and not the transmission. It's a loud clicking and I can not find anything to tell me what it is. It's kinda like sticking a playing card in the spokes of a bicycle.

Can't really hear the noise from here. Does it do it all the time the engine is running? Just for one second when you shift into drive or come to a stop? Why did you need to add fluid? Do you have the three or four-speed transmission? With the four-speed there will be a circle around the "D" on the shift indicator on the dash, unless you have small lights that show which gear is selected.
