I have a leaking timing chain cover which is dripping anti-freeze I was told the cover is warped. The cost of repair is more than car is worth. Can I continue to drive the car and add anti-freeze or will there be other consequences? It looks like the dripping is behind where the water pump installs it is a very slight leak. I'm not sure but I don't think they make an after market cover. I viewed the procedure and it does seem like a job of proportion. Car has many new parts but it is one thing after another and appears the options are very limited at this point for such a repair other than putting big bucks into it and not knowing what gasket will need repair next.

The timing cover sholdn'tbe a problem to get at most auto parts stores. More than likely antifreeze has eaten the cover or gasket mating surface causing the leak. If you don't want to trepair the vehicle you can always donate it to a charity.
