1997 Nissan Quest engine mis-fire

Engine has a mis and surges check engine light is on flashes when accelerating had trouble connecting with scan tool had to use global to communicate cam up with miss-fire on cylinder 2 ran a test on computer that the resulte show that bank 2 is disabled and no data for bank 2 and on a component test everthing passed but c0mponent id oc test id 36

Check fuel pressure and for a vacuum leak, then check compression and see if it's getting spark

Nice, this happens when the catalytic converter on the bank two comes apart and clogs the outlet of the exhaust manifold. Here is how to remove it for inspection. I have seen people use a bore-scope and remove the oxygen sensor to help inspec the cat as well, this is a very common problem with these cars. Check out the images (below).
