My car wont Move!

I was driving my car stoped at a stop sign. When I preceeded to go my car would not move forward. The car was still running. What could be wrong?

If the engine reved, it sounds like a transmission issue. If that is the case, make sure the trans fluid is full and clean. If the check engine light has come on, have the computer scanned.
