1997 Nissan Altima upper chain guide

The upper chain guide broke in two so I replaced it. Eight days later it broke in two again, I thought defective part? So I replaced it again, ten days later it broke in two again, that makes three. Please help with might be causihg this.

Make sure your chain doesn't have any sharp edges to cut into the guide. Looks like the guide system was redesigned for that specific problem as well. Make sure your tensioner is adjusted properly as well.
