Check and adjust the blend air door. That is the item that determines whether you get heat in the vehicle or not. Basically, it closes off the air flow from the heater core. Also, check to see if there is a heater actuator switch on one of the heater core hoses. It too could cause this issue if equipped.

Step 1 - A heater cannot operate unless the engine is full of coolant/antifreeze. If coolant level is low check the system for leaks.
