How do I replace the tps on a 97 lincoln continental 4.6l. There were 4 or 5 codes all relating to the tps, don't remember the p numbers.

REMOVAL

Remove throttle body.
Remove two Throttle Position (TP) sensor retaining screws from throttle body.
Remove TP sensor.
INSTALLATION

Follow removal procedure in reverse order.
Tighten retaining screws to 2.4-3.8 Nm (22-33 lb in).
Cycle throttle lever to wide open throttle. It should return without interference.
