1997 Isuzu Rodeo 97 clicking noise

When I try to start it, it makes a continuous clicking noise and I don't know what it could be. I got a different battery and tried that, but it didn't work so I think it could be either something to do with the starter or the engine? Do you have any idea what it could be?

Continous clicking is usually an indication of a weak battery. Was the replacement battery new and fully charged?
Did you try a jump start?
Have the battery terminal connections and ground cables chacked. Clean and retighten and retest.
