1997 honda civic vbrake light came on and petal to the floor is soft. I added brake fluid and pumped the petal and still soft and to the floor then the brake fluid came out. I think it is from the front. Can it be a bad hose?

When I added the fluid it did not come out right away it was only after I put the car in reverse and then drive that it came out and it looks like it came from passenger front.
