Steering lock wont unlock

Often with commodores the key barrel fails, this is common if you tend to have a lot of keys on the key ring, what happens is that the segments in the barrel collapse and jambs up the barrel, you will have to remove the column trim and remove the barral assambly and give it to a locksmith.
