How to tell if you need to change it out the water pump.

Hi,

When a water pump fails, you can often tell by one of two ways. First, the bearing inside will make noise and you'll notice play at the pulley. Also, the pump can begin to leak. There is a weep hole that coolant will leak from when the internal seal fails.
