Depending what you had in the truck in the first place. You may have to get new motor mounts. A auto motor is not built as heavy as a truck engine. You also might have to change the computer or reset it to the new engine. Sometimes found out what will work is disconnect the negative side of the battery for a couple minutes then restart. The truck will have to be driven appox 40 miles before the computer resets. The wiring may also be different. If you had a v8 in the truck at first then there should not be too much of a problem.
