1997 Ford Explorer. Front wipers don't work. I used a meter and checked for power at the harness going into the motor (6 pin). On high, the top wire had power, and on low the second wire had power. I replaced the motor with a new one. Still not working. Help.

It has the ground strap attached. Cleaned it no luck. Hooked a jumper cable from ground on alternator (and the negative battery post) to motor (scraped off the paint) and the gear box, still no luck.

If your trying to ground the whole motor this might not work you need to find where the ground pin is on the connector and ground it and see if this works, if you have power and a new motor then its a ground, unless you have a bad new part.
